Hypothesis test as trouble shooter
Are you facing an enormous problem and having trouble gaining perspective of what is what in relation to the problem? Immenso has a concept which identifies the reason and subsequently provides possible solutions to the problem!
The method is based on our experience from many years of trouble shooting and is generally based on the principles and ideas of Six Sigma and Lean. Further to this, the method has been made scalable so as to be applicable for large as well as small problems.
Immenso uses hypothesis test to determine roots of problems
In order to be able to perform a hypothesis test, the primary problem is to be determined. In most cases, the current problem will be the reason for the start-up of the project. When the problem has been clearly defined, possible roots of the problem are identified. The roots are reworded into actual hypotheses.
For each hypothesis, it is determined which analyses will either confirm or invalidate the hypothesis. When the analyses are known, it is now possible to determine which data is to be collected to carry through the analyses.
Before collection of data, there is a considerable amount of work involved in determining a method for performing the data collection. It is important to determine the proper method as it is crucial to the further process. When the method has been defined, a pilot test is carried through with subsequent adaptation. Afterwards, data is collected, and the analyses are carried through after which the hypotheses can be confirmed or invalidated. In this manner, the roots of the problems are now identified!
The unique thing about this approach is that, before data collection, you know which result and conclusion the analyses are expected to show.
Problem solving and follow-up
Determining roots of problems of course creates no value as such. If you want to solve the problems yourselves when they have been identified, we will withdraw after handing over of the roots of the problems. Otherwise we are happy to contribute with our knowledge and experience when the subsequent problem solving and follow-up are to be performed.
